Spending time On-line is my favourite way to relax, and I particularly enjoy visiting various web forums. I have been a moderator on a several forums (although not forseveral years)and the first forum I was allowed to become a moderator of was one that was run by a friend of mine. This involved making sure discussions stayed on topic, and that no illegal/inappropriate content found its way onto the forum. It is sometimes hard to be a Moderator on a busy forum as there is lots of room for good natured debate to get out of hand and turn to insults.

I have been the victim of only one serious computer virus in all the years that I have been on-line. I received an email telling me that I had an e-card waiting for me from a friend (and it was a name I recognised) so without thinking I opened it and allowed the virus onto my system. It couldhave been worse, as itdidn't do any major damage but it did slow the entire system up considerably. What was worse was that I was working on a radio programme for my university course at the time, and it was almost finished when the virus struck. I had to stay up all night working on finishing it, and only just made the deadline in time! I don't actually remember how the problem was cured, but I have always been extremely careful regarding any on-line greetings cards from that point on, making sure to check the sender's identity or just deleting them outright.

I have alsotried my hand at Web Design, as I wanted to create a website to show off my autograph collection, but as yet I have been unable to find a freesite that is easy to use (I'm not a great technical person when it comes to html and all that). I do have a site up and running at the moment, but it doesn't look that good because the program tends to ignore everything I tell it to do, and not all the material I upload seems to stay where I put it for some reason!
