I have been asked this question a few times since the generation of computers have come into the decade. Do I do on-line banking. Yes, I have done on-line banking for about 4 years now. The reason I like on-line banking is cause some days you just don't feel like getting out of bed to pay bills. I know some places have started charging a fee to pay a bill like in a store. Why pay the fee, if you can do On-line Banking.

Being we are talking about computers now, I bet some of you have seen the word server. I went to look up the word Server and it really didn't tell me a lot, so I am still dazed for the meaning. It did tell me that a server is a computer program that provides services to other computer programs.

You know my definition of a server is someone playing volleyball or even tennis. I know that is not the definition of a server they are talking about when talking about computers. But it was funny. Makes you wonder if a web design company could be a company with tennis balls or volleyballs. You know it seems kind of funny, when you mention server, you also have to have a connection. So the connection with tennis would be balls, a racket, and a net.

Now I am thinking a Connection in computer terms would be like what are you connected through to get internet. Is your connection through a phone line, or another example would be cable. Some people call being connected to the cable is high speed internet. High speed internet is really good for downloading music or if you down load a lot of programs off of the internet. I never use it to download music for the main reason is I do not know how to do it. I just go out and buy the cd that has my music on it, and that can get really expensive. That is the expensive way of getting music, but it is also the most safest way of doing it, without getting into serious trouble with downloading. This is why it is good to have a good connection and a fast connection if you do want to download music. Some places I have read it could cost you like $1.00 a song, or some sites might be free. That is why computers are good, so you can experiment in different fields.
