There are too many problems surfacing about websites not loading properly. It hinders a lot of us from working since the internet is our source of knowledge. Instead of going to the library, we use the internet for various kinds of information. It has become the information superhighway. So when we click on a link to open up a website that would give us the information we need, we expect it to load properly and not display something like the content can only be viewed using the browser internet explorer.

This happens to me more than once and I really get irked since internet explorer is not my choice of browser. I prefer using Mozilla FireFox. There is too much spent already on website development so why can't people just make sure that everything can be viewed using any browser. It shouldn't matter that I'm using opera or FireFox or internet explorer. Is this a case of internet discrimination? Why do programmers prefer using internet explorer as their platform? I mean, Bill Gates is already earning too much with his Microsoft creations.

Let me tell you the pains that I had to endure using internet explorer. My computer is only about six months old and so I really got surprised when I try opening a website I favored one day and found the message web page cannot be displayed. I contacted my internet provider and asked if my area was having an outage since I double checked on the modem and every physical connection and everything on my end seems to be fine. The poor lad helped for an hour trying to figure out what happened. He asked if I was using a network and if the computer I was working on was the server. I told the guy, I only had one computer. He tried troubleshooting the problem for about thirty minutes when I told him I was running out of patience and he better do something fast or I will switch to another internet provider. He said he already tried checking on their server and my connection is fine. He suggested that I try using another browser since internet explorer is corrupted. He then helped me download Mozilla FireFox using the command prompt and I was able to view websites again. I didn't much understand about what he said about the server but I apologized for how I acted and I said I was loving my internet provider again.

From then on, I was happy using Mozilla FireFox until this problem on hand. Guess I would have to download internet explorer again.
