Techno Library

Okay so I have had the worst week with my computer, it seems everything that could go wrong did. On Monday I lost Internet access and did not complete some of the writing jobs that I was working on that day. There alone I lost over twenty bucks of revenue. Tuesday since I still had no internet access the programmer and web designers that are working on one of my text ad sites couldn't get hold of me so they pushed my jobs to the back of their schedules. This was the worst news of all, this specific programmer is very busy and it took me three weeks to get him to agree to do the upgrades on my site.

So I lost pay, my designers and on top of it all my programmer. What I had to do then was change Internet providers, I had enough of dealing with this very unreliable company. I was given an appointment for a week later and in the meantime I had to go and work in the library. My library has free Internet access available but only for 2 hours per day. I rushed in hoping I could work really fast and catch up on some of my work but the browser they use is the slowest one in the world. Still I ignored the darn browser and worked as fast as my little fingers could manage.

I quickly wrote a few articles I had been asked for and emailed my designer and the programmer. I made arrangements to have them do my jobs the week later and I emailed some of my clients. I even emailed a friend and asked if she would lend me her lap top. If she agreed then at least I won't have to deal with a 2 hour time limit and very slow browser.

Thank goodness she agreed and tomorrow she is bringing it to me. I am still going to work at the library but I can take my time. In fact I will probably be there all day. Here's to hoping next week is better for me.
