Recently I decided to check out web design. I searched all over the net using google and other such search engines. google provided me with lots of tutorials on my subject and I was learning a lot about web design. Suddenly my broadband provider cut off my access to the net. I called my broadband provider and asked why I had no access to the net. My broadband provider apologised and after a couple hours, my Internet returned. I went straight back to google to learn more. I soon learned how to create my own web pages! I made a simple web page for my dog! I couldn't really tell if my dog liked it though, he's not really one to show his emotions.

One day, I was looking around in the library when I found a huge book on web design! I flipped through it and was astonished about all the knowledge there was in that one book. I immediately checked it out and brought it home! I learned about PHP scripts and MySQL. These were things I had never even heard before, and already I was learning how to do them!

After a couple months, I was very good at web design. So good, in fact, that my dad asked me to help him build a web page for his business. I was delighted to help! I could tell he was very proud of me for learning such an important skill. Building him a web page was easy. His business was based on selling soaps. I just took a few pictures of the soap he was selling, put them online, added some buttons and menus, and soon his web page was fully functional! He was very happy. He thanked me and asked me if there was anything that I wanted. I just smiled and said, "Ice cream would be great!". He laughed and agreed. There's nothing like helping out someone and getting rewarded in the process. I think my next task is going to be to get hired from big company to make a website for them. Wish me luck!
