I bought a new computer recently since most of the communications I am making these days are by e-mails. One of my businesses has to do with international trading and I have to build a website of my own to promote my businesses.

Since I do not know how to build a website by myself, I will have to get the service of a suitable web design company. There are a number of companies which offer web design services. Some charge very high fees, and some do with reasonable rates. I will have to look for one which can offer a reasonable rate.

I keep different e-mail addresses for my business communications and personal communications. And, I have a user name for each line of business too. Of Course, the user name has to be very specific to the purpose of the e-mail address. I am using different ISPs so I can have different e-mail addresses. And, I choose a user name which is easy to remember.

I am very happy with the computer I bought. It is not a very high class expensive kind. But for what I need it for, this is a perfect computer.

My work requires a lot of researching online.That needs a lot of surfing over different websites. So, I spend many hours a day surfing on the Internet. There are excellent search engines for the research work. Thousands of websites are identified every time a search is done.

After I have the website for my business, I am sure there will be people surfing my website seeking information about the type of business I am doing and promoting. That's where I should have a counter to see how many people have visited my website. That will very much help to know how successful my business is becoming. That will be an indicator to decide what improvements need to be done to attract more visitors.

This will be a good start in having one's own online business. As the business grows, I can add more activities to the website and expand the line of businesses. This will take some time I know. But, I have to put in all the effort for it.
