Late Wednesday night, Mike was at work and was just told he was laid off and to pack his stuff now and leave! For all the things he's done and for them to do this to him like how they are he was really mad! He took only his personal stuff and left everything in a mess and took off home. He didn't know how to break the news to his Lisa, his wife but he just sat her down and told her.

1 year later.

Early in the morning, Mike kissed his wife good-bye as she was off to work and then he took his 2 children Carter and Hanna to school. When he came home he started to look through the job ads still trying to find a job for web page design. He is very good at designing web pages and he has his own server at home that he just installed a month ago where he's starting to do his own advertising on-line along with he helps out at his friends work in his spare time with advertising on-line to make some money of what he can. He called a couple of places he liked and left voice mails that he's interested in web page design to please call back. He doesn't have much confidence since he's been trying for many months now.

After Mike got done looking through the ads, he thought he would go onto the internet explorer to search the jobs.com ads, but their server was down it says they are having technical problems please come back later, sorry for the inconvenience. As Mike was searching the internet, he was having problems of his own with the internet explorer so he went to check his server to see if everything was OK, but he noticed a couple of wires were loose so he tighten them back in and made sure they won't come loose again! He went back onto the internet explorer to do more advertising on-line so he can try to get more revenue. He did a little bit of that and finally took a break and went out to a coffee shop to have a cup of coffee and kick back a little. Mike had a phone call and it was one of the companies he left his voicemail. They asked if he could come in now for an interview. He said he would be right in and called his wife immediately that he has job interview and to please pick up the kids from school. She was really excited and said she would. A few hours went by Lisa was wondering how everything is going and Mike came through the door, hugged his kids and kissed his wife and said he got the job!
