I am presently doing a team work with my web site designer friend Jason regarding a new site that we are planning to put up. Jason was the one who made my web site design early this year. He is not only good in web site design but also with the various aspect of internet marketing and conceptualization of web sites and blog sites.

Jason and I came up with the idea of putting up a web site that will be like a small shopping centre on-line. There will also be spaces for advertising on-line which will be very cheap and affordable even for just regular bloggers.

What I am most excited about is the on-line auction section of the web site. That will enable us to sell items which are second hand and slightly used. I used to sell second hand items in our front yard only. Selling items on-line is something really new and exciting for me. I also think we will be able to sell more as the market is broader.

Last week Jason taught me everything about our website including getting a web access to it. The two of us will be the site administrator that is why I need to learn everything about the web site. I need to learn how to moderate regarding the comments of the viewers of our site. Well, that is easy. I also need to post a short article every week regarding what's new in the site and other activities that we would want to incorporate in it. The web site design will be Jason's responsibility. I know nothing about it. Jason promised me though that he will teach me some of the basics in web site design especially the technical terms.

I was talking to my friend Amie couple of days ago and she also gave me some ideas on what would look good in the site. She told me to tell Jason to put a forum in the site which will be joined in by regular site visitors. In the forum, visitors can discuss about a certain issue or product bought from our site. They can even write a review and assessment of different products. Amie said that we can attract more advertisers in the site because of the topics that would be discussed in the forum especially those which are related to products in the market. I can't wait until I meet Jason tonight and discuss Amie's idea.

It seems like I have lots of activities to look forward to involving internet, blogging and on-line marketing. I can't wait for this new site of mine and Jason to get finalized.
