Sara and Jerry where asking around for anyone who had information on an online forum for learning how to play the guitar. They both had a musical background but neither of them knew how toplay the guitar. I had heard of a website that offered lessons by way of selling media such as DVDs and books, an “E” book for a small fee for download. Never had I heard of a forum for such as this. Well. Until I caught up with them the following weekend and found out, yes there is. Sara told us, there are many forums online that do help beginners, as well as others with learning to play the guitar. I wondered what else was available besides on-line shopping that was so helpful. Free to download, help with just about anything you could want to learn, is available on the internet. It's just a matter of finding it pointing and clicking, then to save to a special place you can find it later and click download.

Scott went to college to learn how to get into web design while he was at college he was a server in a local cafe, when he wasn't being a server at the cafe he liked nothing more than to go down the beach and do some Surfing, living near the beach Scott had grown up surfing and most of his buddies did surfing too, but there was a side to Scott that wasn't like the rest of his buddies. He was really into computers when he got home from his server job he was either busy researching web design or having fun playing on a on-line gaming site, he was a member of one particular site and it was a good place to meet other people.

Debra was working as a programmer for a company that develops application software. We were on-line one night and I asked her about her work. She told me it was complicated to explain. Debra told me "I guess, in layman’s terms, you could say. I make sure a website when visit, brings up advertising for that visitor. In other words, say Laurie last shopped for software in the security industry. The application that I set up for that web design or queue will read what kind of shopping she has done in the past and will go out and bring an advertisement into that website of a security product that she might buy."

I log on every morning and turn on my messenger. The internet is constantly on in our home. The net is a part of everyday life here in the United States. Most Wednesdays I am working here at home in the evening catching up on projects for work and proof reading school homework for our 4 children. I will have my laptop on and printing out the order schedule for the upcoming week. This task is made so simple by my employer’s web design. At the end of the process it’s just a matter of hitting save/naming it and sending as attachment in an email then clicking send to all. The net is not only a quick way to access work related tasks. I can scan one child’s book report while another is on the Internet on our network using a different computer. The children wouldn't know how to act if they couldn't spell and grammar check their work.For extra credit he’s' doing research for another assignment.He’s' trying for extra credit for the end of the semester grade. When the assignment he is working on is complete; I will do the same for him. While he is busy doing that tonight, our daughter is getting ready to go on a field trip and is downloading the information off of the internet from her school. Our home page is setup with a calendar for everyone in the family to keep our schedules right at hand. I should never have a problem getting the youngerchildren where they need to be for school or friends with the schedule right at my finger tips every day. If it's not on the schedule they know it isn't something we have planned for them to do. The net is always there to get a job done fast. Just the other day I was talking to a girl friend in India about how the net as affected her working environment. She was explaining to me about the teenager messengers her work had and how they used to run like crazy all over the plant. Now just to get things picked up and movedinside the building is enough for them to do.A messenger program is so much more efficient. It’s faster to use Messenger program right on their net.
